Job Description for:  Teacher
Hours:  40 hour work week.

Education Requirements:  CDA, AA, BA/BS in education, VPK Certification 
					  for all 4 yr old teaching positions
Other Requirements:  Experience with young children, Background Screening

Responsible to:  ECC Director

   

The person selected for the position of TEACHER must be professionally 
prepared as a teacher of young children, especially in the field of early 
childhood education or child development,  and be able to meet the 
requirements of the state and county licensing agency.  
Furthermore this individual must be able to provide a warm, safe, 
and loving environment where self-concepts are enhanced,  
independance encouraged, and individuality respected.  The teacher will 
plan and implement lessons based on the age of children assigned, as well 
as establish and maintain good communication with parents.
