Job Description for:  Substitute

Hours:  Varied. 

Education Requirements:  A high school diploma

Other requirments:  Experience with young children, Background Screening.

Benefits:  NA

Responsible to:  Under supervision of a regular ECC staff member.
 
   
The person selected for the position of SUBSTITUTE must have 
a genuine liking for children and a respect for them as individuals.  
This person must be at least 18 years of age, interested in pursuing 
education and knowledge in relation to early childhood, and be able 
to meet the requirments of the state and county licensing agency.  
Furthermore this individual must be able to provide a warm, safe, 
and loving environment where self-concepts are enhanced,  
independance encouraged, and individuality respected.
